ATHENS, GA- Just days after several University of Georgia Bulldogs announced plans to enter the NFL Draft in April another star player from the Bulldogs roster has announced plans to enter the draft as well.

On Tuesday, January 2, 2024 Georgia Star tight end Brock Bowers announced plans to enter the draft. The 6'4" 240 pound Napa, California native made a name for himself as a Dawg and will be departing the university with a career that includes 175 catches and 26 touchdowns.

Bowers is expected to be a high pick in the draft in April. In a post on his page on X (formerly Twitter) Bowers announced how thankful he was for the past three years at UGA and cited the unbelievable honor it was to play for the university.

Bowers joins at least four other Dawgs that announced earlier this week they would be entering the NFL draft. Those players include, Ladd McConkey (Wide Receiver), Kendall Milton (Running Back), Daijun Edwards (Running Back), and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (Wide Receiver)

The Dawgs finished the 2023 season 13-1 after a record breaking victory over Florida State in the Orange Bowl.
