COLUMBUS, GA: A Columbus grown theatre company is hosting a two day event this weekend that will bring magic, antics, along with a few awww's as three high talent magicians will descend upon Columbus to grace the community with a touch of family friendly magic.

The Family Theatre sits quietly along Hamilton Road in Columbus just north of downtown. The company finds its origins in the Columbus area dating back two decades and continuing to thrive. The theatre puts on several stage performances each year, but this weekend it will put on a different type of show as the world of magic invades Columbus.

Starting on Friday evening the company will host three magicians to include Buddy Lamb, Jason Cardwell, and Frankie Elliston. Elliston is a well known name on the ticket as he appeared on season 5 of the hit television show America's Got Talent. Elliston was only 19-years-old when he made his appearance on the show, but was already a ten-year veteran of the magic community.

Buddy Lamb and Frankie Elliston performed last month at a show in Waverly Hall, Georgia. The duo will team up again this time in Columbus to showcase their talents in a family friendly setting. They will also be joined by local magician Jason Cardwell who is no stranger to The Family Theatre or gracing stages around the Chattahoochee Valley with his miracles of illusion.

The show is set for two nights on November 17th and 18th. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. each night with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are adults-$12, seniors/military-$10, students-$8, and children-$5. The Family Theatre is located at 2100 Hamilton Road Columbus. For more information you can contact (706)431-3752 or www.familytheatre.org.
