New Dining option Quietly Opens in Columbus

Willy's Mexican Grill has opened in Columbus' Columbus Park Crossing Shopping area.

COLUMBUS, GA: There are several new construction projects taking shape around the Fountain City. Many of those new projects relate to the growth of new dining options throughout the city. One of those restaurants has quietly opened its doors near the vibrant Columbus Park Crossing area of the city.
Willy's Mexicana Grill opened up its 30th location late last month in Columbus at 5279 Whittlesey Blvd in Columbus. The Atlanta based company has has 29 locations around the Metro Atlanta area including one in Athens, GA.
Since its opening Willy's has offered up large custom made burritos and traditional Mexican style side dishes. The story of Willy's is a unique one that goes back to the childhood of the owner Willy Bitter. While growing up in Asheville, NC what was thought to be authentic Mexican style food was not truly to par and a lifelong quest started to get the true southwestern taste into the Atlanta market and therefore Willy's was born.
Since its opening on October 17th Willy's has greeted Columbus customers with fresh tastes and arousing aromas of southwestern flavors. The store is located between Veterans Parkway and Adams Farm Drive in a newly constructed strip center that houses both Willy's and Eyemart.
