COLUMBUS, GA- Columbus police are investigating a shooting on Monday evening that left one person injured in the Oakland Park neighborhood of Columbus.
Columbus police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of Walker Street in Oakland Park shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2021. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered one person suffering from gunshot injuries.
The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS. Police have released no additional details in relation to the shooting.
There has been no report of arrests or suspects in connection to the case, which remains under investigation by police.
