Phenix City Police Investigate Deadly Overnight Shooting

PHENIX CITY, AL: Phenix City Police are searching for a suspect after a 30-year-old man was found fatally shot in the East Alabama city overnight.

Phenix City Police found 30-year-old Kishard Miller fatally shot in Phenix City overnight. Police responded to a residence on 8th Street South shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and found the 30-year-old male deceased a gunshot injury.

Police have named a person of interest in the shooting. That suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Jasper Jermaine Miller. Miller is suspected to be driving a 1998 tan Lincoln Towncar with the Alabama license plate TVR 171. Police ask that you not approach Miller, he is considered armed and dangerous if you come into contact with him call police immediately.
