Portion of Bradley Park Drive To Close For Roundabout Project May 28th

This portion of Bradley Park Drive in Columbus will close on May 28th, 2019, for 12 weeks due to construction.
COLUMBUS, GA: The Columbus Consolidated Government has announced a portion of Bradley Park Drive will be closed as of May 28, 2019, for an ongoing road improvement project in the area.

According to a release from the Columbus Consolidated Government, Bradley Park Drive between State Route 219/River Road and Brookstone Boulevard will be closed on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, to allow a contractor hired by the city government to make improvements to the Bradley Park Drive area.

The improvements are part of a new roundabout project that is being constructed at the intersection of River Road and Bradley Park Drive. According to the city of Columbus, the roadway will be closed for approximately twelve weeks.

Motorist traveling in the Bradley Park Drive area will have posted detour signs to help guide them around the impacted area. The city has announced that access to businesses located at 5900 River Road and 400 Bradley Park Drive will be maintained at all times. Access to these locations will be available to motorist using River Road to eastbound Bradley Park Drive. The businesses in this area will not be accessible from westbound Bradley Park Drive.

The motorist who travel in the area are encouraged to proceed with caution in the area of road closure and detour route.
