The Columbus River Dragons are looking forward to the upcoming 24-25 season and have added some new weapons to their lineup.

The River Dragons have announced the signing of a new goaltender ahead of the upcoming season. The 19-year-old Brighton, Michigan native brings a wealth of skill and talent to the ice in Columbus and is a relative of a former River Dragon.
The River Dragons have announced the signing of Trevor Roy, who has played the last two seasons in the USPHL Premier League. In the last season Roy played with the Minnesota Squatch and the season before he played with the South Shore Kings. According to details released by the River Dragons during the last season at Minnesota Roy racked up stats in his 20 appearances that included a record of 15-3-0 with a 2.83 GAA and a .905 save percentage.

Roy is the brother of Tyler Roy, who played in seven games with the River Dragons last season as a goaltender.
Trevor will join other River Dragons in early October for training camp for the upcoming season. The River Dragons open their 24-25 season on the road on October 18, when they face the Monroe Moccasins. The River Dragons will open play on home on November 1, when they host the Mississippi Sea Wolves at the Civic Center.
