RiverFest Returns To Uptown In A Big Way

COLUMBUS, GA:The annual family-friendly event known as RiverFest has returned to the Chattahoochee Riverfront and Woodruff Park in Uptown. The events kicked-off on Friday as hundreds poured into the Uptown area with even larger crowds expected through the weekend and the three-day long event.

RiverFest presented by Salt Life will kick off the 2018 Chattahoochee Whitewater season. This years event will be a big one as a whole extra day has been added on Sunday. Each day is filled with huge events including live music, a food truck village that spans two states across the Dillingham Street Bridge, whitewater paddling races, biking demonstrations and adventures and much more.

Best of all the annual event is completely free and open to the public. Also this year the sweet aroma of southern bbq will fill the streets of Uptown as the Golden Cast's BBQ event will kick-off on Bay Avenue as well. As dozens of the best BBQ masters around the area will cook off with a goal of being the best. A full list of the events is listed below.
