Truck Stop & Restaurant In Planning Stages For West Georgia

GA-18 in West Point will soon be home to a new Love's Travel Center and restaurant.
WEST POINT, GA:The small west Georgia town of West Point has been the focus of much economic development over the past decade. Most of the growth has been attributed to the massive Kia Plant built near the city, however other retail endeavors have found their way to West Point and Troup County as part of the massive growth and now an Oklahoma based company has announced plans to build a new retail location in the city of West Point with construction planned to start by the end of the year.

Loves Travel Stops confirms that the company is in the planning phase to open a new location along Georgia Highway 18 just off of Interstate 85 in the city of West Point. The new location will be the second location in Troup County. There is presently a Love's location located in the city of Hogansville in eastern Troup County. According to company officials the new stop being planned for West Point will have some really big features with it.

According to Kealey Dorian, a media relations specialist with Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores the company is presently planning to open a new Love's Travel Stop near Exit 2 off of Interstate 85 in West Point. Dorian also confirms that in addition to the fueling station the new travel center will also contain a new Hardees restaurant and a Love's Truck Tire Center. Construction has not yet started on the project, but Dorian states that there is a plan to start construction by this winter with an opening slated for Fall of 2019.
