UGA 2024 Football Schedule Released As Changes Come To The SEC

The University of Georgia has received their 2024 football schedule and will face some fierce opponents as changes come to the SEC.


ATHENS, GA- The 2023 college football season is coming to a close. While fans wait to see the outcome of their favorite teams in this seasons bowl games and playoffs, arrangements are already being made for next years matchups. Earlier this week the Georgia Bulldogs 2024 regular season schedule was released as the SEC will add two new teams and eliminate conferences in the upcoming season.










In the 2024 season the SEC will expand to 16 teams to include; Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas, and Vanderbilt. In the upcoming season Texas and Oklahoma will make the transition to the SEC.


In addition to the two new teams joining the conference, the SEC will also do away with their divisional standings of SEC East and SEC West, which has been in place since 1991. The SEC Championship Game will feature the two top teams in the Conference standings at the end of the regular season.


In June the SEC had announced that teams will face eight conference matches in the 2024 season and will plus one required opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 or major independent. Looking at the line-up of the upcoming schedule, The Georgia Bulldogs will face some fierce opponents in next years season.
